The app looks broken after an update

Why it happens

If a tab stayed open from before a system update, the browser may mix old and new files for a moment — a button stops responding or a page shows an error.

The fix

  1. In most cases the app detects this and reloads itself automatically once.
  2. If not, do a full refresh: Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac).
  3. Still odd? Sign out and back in — your data is on the server, nothing is lost.

Prevention

Close the dashboard tab at the end of the day instead of leaving it open for a week.
