Appointment reminders (WhatsApp / SMS)

How it works

Once messaging is enabled for your clinic, the system automatically sends a reminder to the patient before the appointment using the configured channel (WhatsApp or SMS) and your message template.

What you control

  • Timing: how long before the appointment the reminder goes out.
  • Template: the message text in Arabic and English with placeholders (patient name, time, doctor).
  • Channel: WhatsApp, SMS, or both depending on your subscription.

Things to check

  • Patient phone numbers must include the country code to be deliverable.
  • Cancelled and rescheduled appointments update the reminder automatically.
