How it works
Once messaging is enabled for your clinic, the system automatically sends a reminder to the patient before the appointment using the configured channel (WhatsApp or SMS) and your message template.
What you control
- Timing: how long before the appointment the reminder goes out.
- Template: the message text in Arabic and English with placeholders (patient name, time, doctor).
- Channel: WhatsApp, SMS, or both depending on your subscription.
Things to check
- Patient phone numbers must include the country code to be deliverable.
- Cancelled and rescheduled appointments update the reminder automatically.
